United Reef Limited, founded in 1948, is a Toronto-based exploration company engaged in the generation, acquisition and exploration of mineral projects with good discovery potential. During 2009 the Company refocused its efforts on gold and other precious metal exploration in Canada and subsequently acquired two gold projects in Ontario; the Santa Maria Project in the Dryden area and the other in the west Timmins area was evaluated by drilling in early 2011 and dropped. Management is currently working on generating a new gold project in Ontario. The Company owns the Nickel Offsets property (Sudbury Basin) which is under option to URSA Major Minerals and they are exploring it for base metals and PGMs with encouraging results from their 2009 and 2010 drilling programs. Some of United Reef's historic assets continue to hold promise through our retained royalty interests.

Nickel Offsets property, Sudbury, Ontario (Ni-Cu-PGE's)
- United Reef granted URSA Major an option in March '08 (as amended) to earn a 70% interest in the property by making $1.25 MM of exploration expenditures over 4 yrs., total cash payments of $100,000 and 100,000 common shares of URSA Major.
- URSA Major’s initial drilling program and borehole EM completed fall '09 identified new massive sulphide targets in proximity to existing mine workings.
- URSA Major mobilized a follow-up drilling and EM program in November 2010 and intersected 2.89 meters of nickel rich massive sulphides and 2 meters of platinum group metal mineralization. URSA Major has also disclosed their intention to mobilize a follow-up drilling program on the property during 2011.
- 12 patented/5 unpatented claims (883 acres) covering 2.3 km strike of Foy Offset dike.
- Nickel Offsets Mine produced +200,000 tons of Ni-Cu ore in 1940-50's.
